I am in a drum line at my school, but my bace line isnt very good. i think alot of them are visual learners, so i need to find a good program to write music in for all kinds of marching drums.

Are you talking about notation software? Because you can download Finale Notepad for free: http://www.finalemusic.com/notepad/

There's also a demo of Sibelius. I've never used it, but I've heard that it is a pretty good program and it might have the type of notation you're looking for: http://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/download/get.pl?com=sh&prod=sibdemo

Finale Notepad is a really good program. I was a music education major for a year and a half in college, and our theory books came with the program....but i used it a lot to notate music for the high school i was helping out at.

the free version on the internet is pretty good for being free, but for some reason if you think you need even more detail ability, you can buy their newer versions.

If you want to compose on your computer, you can use software to drag and drop notes, make quick changes and revisions, providing you with easy access and quick saves. Composing on the computer is increasingly popular among contemporary composers, saving you time and effort in writing music.
