Which gland. The gland on your neck can get swollen if you get the flu, strep thoat, sinus infection, ear infection. If it does not go away and/or you have other symptoms you should see your doctor. Mine swell anytime I get a sore throat, ear ach ect. It usually goes away but sometimes I do see a doctor and I have an infection that needs to be treated.

Is the lump where your tonsils would be? If that's the case, then that's normal with the kind of sickness that you have. I would go to the doctor if it's directly under your chin because that's not normal. I would go in anyway to make sure that you don't have strep throat. If strep goes untreated, it can travel to your heart and if this happens often enough, you can get some sort of heart disease later. I hope this helps!
