I use to work at the mall and I asked one and he said no but I fail to really know the truth if he was lieing? then he said the reason they hate us is b/c our country is a wreck with teenage girls getting pg unwed and all the unpaid debts to credit cards...that our people were cheap b/c we dress cheap and not in good quality linens and we wear cheap jewelry....and then he laughed and said and we sell it to you. Then he said he was joking but that some of us were so stupid, we'd buy anything. Yes he said he was dedicated to his Muslim ways and answered my question in days to come about if Muslims lie, HE WAS MARRIED! He had been hitting on me and had even got out of the way with me a couple of times when I was trying to do things in the back room, like pick up hangers at my mothers store....His wife came over and daughter and immediately went to work there....then 911 happened and I was chilled my what he had told me. I never looked at him the same after that, I had so much distrust. He said he was not married. He also ask if I had jew in me, more than once....

You need to understand the passage you quoted was after the Jews and the Pagan enemies of Islam (who were trying to surround and kill the Muslims) had broken numerous treaties with the Muslims. So one man who was trusted by the Jews and the Pagans offered to tell a lie to each of the leaders so as to confuse the leaders and make each army think the opposite was siding with the Muslims. It was a brilliant tactical maneuver that lead the Muslims to victory. If the non-Muslims have kept their word, the Muslims would never lie... the Prophet himself never lied. Muslims are not allowed to lie... unless there is a life and death situation or it is a time of war.

I am a muslim, what i just read is not true, these statements are surely made up.......
its a sin to lie....... altho every1 in thsi world lies, but muslims and any other religion doesnt allow liein...... and these statements r false, and if they arent, i will never believe in them!!
p.s. about killin jews, it might be centuries ago, when there was a war between muslims and jews, anyway personally i do not hate jews, i just hate the government, jews or other religions have nothin to do with what the governments from both sides r deciding to do!! we ppl r the victims, and as a muslim, i think i have to b patient, and try to understand others who think all muslims r terrorist, bcuz i do not blame them for thinkin this way!! what usama binladen did was a disgrace and he gave a very bad picture about islam.. this guy is one murderer..... nd i hope they find him soon!!

Allowed in exceptional cases. For example when your life is in danger i.e if you are about to be killed. In other times it is not allowed to lie even jokingly.

Uh DUH that's what Muslims have Been doing ever since Mohammed came up with ISLAM. It is just a religion that disguises hatfilled evil men to have orgies with up to Nine Wives and Kill or Blow up or Torture those who oppose them and thier Extremist religion.
