I don't use the Outlook Express, as I use Yahoo! Mail. Even if I disable the program or delete it, the Outlook Express folder & its contents respawn in the Program Files. For example, when I try to email a company, that stupid OE dialog opens up & can't compose a message using my Yahoo! Mail to email them. Why should I have to go through stupid setup options in the OE program if I already have an email account w/ Yahoo! Mail?

Remove the program completely from your machine by going to Start>Control Panel>Add Remove Programs....find the entry for Outlook Express and select the uninstall button.

You need it for what you have just said. There has to be a default mail program for web sites to allow you to send mail through. Yahoo is a web based mail system and you can't access it from other web pages. As far as I know it is also part of the operating system and can't be removed.
