Any insight as to why a guy who is usually very good at communicating with a girl, taking things slow, talking, but not QUITE in a relationship yet, would suddenly stop replying to emails, phone calls and stop coming over?
When she asks, he says he has been busy.
This has happened for two weeks.
He has kids AND college, could it just be that he IS busy or has he lost interest completely? What is your opinion?

He's losing interest...and any continued effort by you to contact him will drive him away. You need to cut off all effort, and go out and have a good time. And don't respond to his next two contacts...let him sweat it for a while - YOU go out and have a good time!

Do you realize the kind of work he's swamped with between kids and college?
For you to ask this questions means you haven't the imagination to know nor the experience. I'm not saying this to say your stupid, I'm saying this because the priorities he has are paramount against having a relationship with you.
As far as I can see, he has to take priority with his children who's CONSTANTLY on his mind. Another factor in this, is that he's trying to get a better education, not only for his personal growth, but for his children, so he can move up the financial ladder to take care of them the easiest and smartest way possible.
He has no choice but to focus what's really important to him. He also understands that as a human being, he would love to have a companion so he can feel that he's not just a cog in the wheel. This is a difficult situation and he can't afford to give you all the attention you require. You may want to surprise him and help him out (and don't be selfish in doing this to draw him to give you attention above his kids).
But if your not ready to deal with his children, your not ready to deal with him and you CANNOT RESENT HIM FOR THAT, NOR CAN YOU MAKE HIM FEEL REGRET for what's important to him and his children.
Give him his space or leave him alone if your not going to contribute to his plan.

Lost interest. I am outgoing and very sociable. When I really like someone, NOTHING keeps me from staying in touch. Even if I am busy, if you are in my mind, I at least spend two minutes to dorp you a line or leave you are message. He is gone. Move on

In this situation let him come to you. Do the same to find out if you are worth his time. Act just like him.. Then you will see. You've already shown the interest, leave the ball in his court and let him show you if he is interested.

What the living hell is wrong with you? He's an ADULT with ADULT responsibilities. He has KIDS. He's in COLLEGE.
Perhaps one day when YOU become a responsible adult you'll understand.
The guy is TIRED and BUSY and STRESSED and trying to make a better life. Dang, give him a break! What do you want, for him to drop his life and revolve his whole world around you?
Get a life and leave the guy alone.

The stupidity of love is blindest to be and see somebody forever.
If I'm interested to be with somebody I could call every evening.
For me he is not series or change his mind.
Move on.
You can give him credit too, but for how long?...
If you have nothing to do you can wait.
