A yeast infection happens when your vagina produces an excess amount of yeast - that can heppens when your vagina does not get enough air to it (like someone who wears pantyhose all the time) or it can happen if you drink too much beer or you are on antibiotics. If you insert your finger up into your vagina and it comes back with a cottage cheese looking fluid on it, then you have a yeast infection. You have to use your fingers to test, because a towel will just soak it up or wipe it off. You could try going to the drugstore and buying a 7-day Monistat yeast treatment kit and using it. You should also call your Doctor.

The way you find out if you have a sexually transmitted disease is to go to the gynecologist to be examined for an std. You will be examined and the swabs taken from you will go down to the lab. I recomend that you be tested for HIV. Yeast infections occurs when there is too much yeast in the vagina. The causes of yeast infections can come from wearing jeans too tight or underware that do not provide air to flow thru, such as satin. Cotton undeware provides a cleaner environment and after taking a medicine that is an antibotic can throw off the balancement of your natural bodily functions and cause a yeast infection. Steer away from pantyhose and look into thigh highs. Thigh highs are actually sexier I think. The last thing you would want to do is diagnose your self. Burning and itching can also be the resut of an std? It could be a number of things such as herpes, vaginitis, syphillis, or gohnorreha. Make a doctors appointment immediately to clear up your concerns before your situation worsens.

A yeast infection is caused when the yeast you naturally have in your vaginal area over grow. It results in itching, burning and a white cottage cheese like discharge. From what you are describing you could have yeast, a bacterial infection or a sexually transmitted disease. Only a doctor will be able to tell you for sure. If you can not afford health care for this type of thing, most Planned Parenthood offices offer sliding fess and will be able to take care of this for you.

Feels like a urinary tracht illness. Traditional signs! Drink lots of water and have a glass of cranberry juice every day, my urologist instructed me i might on no account take bath baths again ,so i'm committed to only have showers. Wager what? I havent had any more infections. A yeast infection could be very uncomfortable as you've extreme vaginal itching and a white discharge. You dont most often get this until you are sexually energetic. If your symptons dont resolve you must re-talk over with the doctor. Often they put you on an anti-biotic that's known as vast spectrum until they get the outcome back from the lab, then they are going to be aware of exactly which remedy will work. Hope this helps you till you see your medical professional.

It may be a yeast infection but you failed to present any other factors, such as discharge.. It is a common condition for the female but is not restricted to the female.. your partner may contract it and thereby you continue to keep reinfecting each other.. but...until this is established to be a yeast infection, need to be examined and treated.. It does sound like it is pretty well advanced, regardless what the condition is..
Yeast infections become present when there is insufficient acidity of the vaginal cavity. Yeast spores are around us all the time.. only waiting for the opportunity to find the right media to flourish in..They are opportunistic.

Yeast is present in your whole system. When you take antibiotics the good bacterial that keep you system in balance is also killed off in your system - this allows the yeast to multiply and take over. Diabetics because of the circulation sugar in their blood are susceptible to yeast / fungus infections. Low immunity is also a cause. You can get any of the over the counter creams to cure it yourself. However a doctor will be able to tell you if it really is a yeast infection.

Go to the Doctor. If it is just a yeast infection, be happy. It could be many worse things.
