I have this older guy friend of mine. We have been friends for about 8 years now. And up until a little over a month ago, that's all it's been. We have gotten really close and have seen eachother more often. He's 25+ years older than me. We are both adults. I guess what I am looking for is permission to see him?? Does society accept that these days?? is it wrong (morally, ethically) for a younger girl to be with a much older man?? Does age really matter? Thanks

do what your heart tells you to do. if you or he's uncomfortable being in public because of the age difference, then perhaps you should reconsider it. but if both of you are adults and don't care about the age difference, go for it.

It doesn't matter At All whether society accepts it or doesn't accept it.
Why are looking to see whether "society" will accept it or not ?
It's your life to live however you wish to. It is not wrong morally or ethically for a woman to be with a man 25 + years older.

No sometimes age really doesn't matter but 25 years older is a huge age difference

Age doesn't matter. What matters is how you feel about each other. Since you are both adults, you need no ones permission. I, myself, have an older guy and we also started where you are now.

My mom was 19 and my dad 41 when they got together. That was 24 years ago and they are still in love. Age is only a #.

I mean, it sounds a little wierd to me, cause thats how much older my dad is, but if you two care for each other and wanna be together, why would you ask permission? It's your life and no one elses, so you should aim to please yourself.

Dont fear just believe in yourself. Society alway think every different think as bad. Im sure you are matured enough to be responsible for you decisions.
