Hands down, The Tower of London. It has it all, it covers the history of London from pre-Roman times on. It's awesome.

The Tower of London! Take the Beefeater tour, I took it 3 times and it was really funny and informative. You get to learn about all the crazy ways they would kill people, etc.

Got to go with the Tower of London

BUT also well worth a good look is the whispering Gallery in St. Paul's Cathedral

Big Ben.......houses of Parliament................carnaby street if only to look at the nutters..................Go to Chelsea and see the Chelsea pensioners [old soldiers in there scarlet coats if you've got time chat with them GREAT men full of stories]

Go to where the Great fire of London began [pudding lane]
