my finance joined the marines, he left for boot camp a week and a half ago, I was just wonderin if anybody knew when I would be getting any contact info from him?

He does not have any time for letters during this phase of training. Believe me, he feels like he was teleported to another unverse right now. Give him some time to deal with what is happening . You will probably not hear from him very much during boot camp. He's there and he's alive, trust me. But he does not have time to do anything but become a Marine. I guarantee you that he is going through the most physically and mentally challenging event in his life to date. You will barely recognize him the next time you see him. Hang in there kiddo, you will both suvive. Thousands before have done so. You will too. Semper Fi !!!

See above. I'm a Corpsman, if you don't know what it is look it up. I agree with the first post. He doesn't have the time to write or call home. A letter or so, but thats pushing it. SEMPER FI, to all.
