Our church needs a bus or vans to transport children of our community to church. These are children that want to come to church, but their parents don't come to church, and they won't bring their children to church. There are children whose single parents don't have a vehicle to bring them to church. We feel that children shouldn't be deprived of the word of God, and we sure would like to get them all an opportunity to come to church, especially since they want to come. Some church members, and the pastor go and pick some of these children, but if we had a bus jor couple of vans, it sure would be a big blessing. If there are any organizations out there that do and will help a church with grant donations we sure would like to know who they are so we can contact them. If anybody out there has this kind of information we would greatly appreciated and God will bless you and the donator.
Thank lyou again and God Bless YOU!

Hold a fund rasier. Kids are pretty innovative when it comes to things like that. I am the secratary/treasurer for our fire department. Once a year we go to businesses in the the local area and ask for things to auction off. Generally we bring in about $7,000, from this. We have games for the kids, softbball tournaments and horse shoe pitches along with water fights. Then we have a BBQ and sell sandwiches and tacos. We also sell T-shirts and hats that we bought and have had made up with our town name on it. Once a year I also send out letter to everyone in the county, in our fire district. Usually donations from this will cover what we purchase for the annual event. This past July we took in over $16,000.00. You may also find a used car lot that would donate a vehicle. Our catholic church here in town just had the annual fall dinner and auction yesterday. Donated items for the auction came from many businesses in the county. We are so small the we only have 2 businesses in town, and bar and restaurant combined and a fertilizer store. So we go out off town to the bigger towns.
