My mom needs her high school diploma, but the school she went to no longer exists. Apparently she's tried getting it before, but can come up with nothing. Does anyone know how to find it, like some sort of records it would be in, or direct me to some website/ person that may specialize in that sort of thing? she's in quite a bind.

If the school is gone, try the school district. I am sure the district is still there.

As a last resort, go to the State Board of Education
The office should be located at your State capital
Obtain their number from the website for state information and call them first
If they don't have access to the information, they should be able to direct you to a source for it (Administration for the school district in your area)

I don't know, but start by trying the board of education for the town she graduated from. If they don't have it they may be able to tell her where to go. Good Luck.

try the board of education in her area. Or go to another high school and ask the office staff how to get this.
