I've just bought a DVD recorder and I need to know how to connect it to my TV so that I can record fron the TV and also the channels that I can get off my Freeview box.
The TV has 2 scart sockets ( av1 & av2 )
The Freeview box has 2 scart sockets and an aerial in and out
The DVD recorder has also 2 scart sockets and an aerial in and out
Any help would be much appreciated

Ok. firstly I am assuming the DVD recorder connects to the TV through scart.

Plug the arial from your ariel to the DVD recorder, then using another ariel cord from the DVD to the Freeview box, and using yet another ariel chord from the Freeview to the main TV. Now all your peices of equipment will recieve a Television signal.

Now as for the scarts, one will need to go from the DVD to the TV, and one from the freeview to the TV and another from the freeview to the DVD recorder.

Now you have got one big mess of wires behind your telly but it should all work.
