I tried this, and it worked, don't ask how. Cut a potato in half and rub it on the wart. Then, get someone else to bury it in your backyard and a week later your wart will go away. But if you ever find that potato your wart will come back.
Or you can get compound W and try that.

Warts, I understand, cannot live without light and oxygen. Try keeping a band aid on the wart for a week or more and watch it shrink. This has worked for me.
Good luck

I tried everything over the counter for my son, who had a large wart on his thumb. Nothing worked - until I got a prescription from his pediatrician - and it has worked wonderfully. It is expensive ($35 for a months supply) but his anguish over this wart is gone, so it was well worth the money.

Putting a thin slice of fresh garlic on the wart and covering with a plaster every night is supposed to work - might be quite smelly though!

Dr. Scholls Clear Away gel. In the foot care section. Much better than the liquid wart removers.
