There are African Americans, Mexican Americans,
Asian Americans, Arab Americans, Native Americans,
etc.
And then there are just Americans.
You pass me on the street and sneer in my
direction. You call me "Whiteboy," "Cracker,"
"Honkey," "Whitey," "Caveman" and that's OK.
But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towelhead,
Sand-******, camel Jockey, Beaner, ****, or Chink you
call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence
against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous
places to live?
You have the United ***** College Fund.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
You have the NAACP.
You have BET.
If we had WET(White Entertainment Television)
we'd be Racists.
If we had a White Pride Day you would call us
racists.
If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.
If we had any organization for only whites to
"advance" our lives, we'd be racists.

Wonder who pays for that?
If we had a college fund that only gave white
students scholarships, you know we'd be racists. There
are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the
US, yet if there were "White colleges" that would be a
racist college.
In the Million Man March, you believed that you
were marching for your race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call
us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and
orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when
we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But,
when a white police officer shoots a black gang member
or beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law
and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud. But, you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists

I think much of what you say is quite correct. you ask why?... Welcome to the world of the politically correct, where anything non minority is bad. Welcome to the world where harriet Tubman gets a full page in history books and Abrahan Lincoln gets one paragraph....such is the state of our academics that the left wing, anarchist, politically correct have created for us. It is the result of 50 years of Liberal brainwashing and a campain mounted to denigrate anything having to do with western civilization. This is the liberal left wing at work and at its worst.

You lack historical perspective. Yes it seems unfair at this point to someone unfimiliar with the history. However, if you remember that only 30 or so years ago equal oppertunity was about as laughable as T1TS on a boar. These things are in place to bring everything to a level playing field. Does the government and society need to stop at some point and finally let everyone stand as equals? Yes. But at this point, I don't think we're there. Your message and messages like it are some of the things that make me think that society still doesn't understand the past well enough to move on into the future successfully.

totally agree with Holly here, white female married to a black man, but what you overlook is that by spouting that type of rhetoric you are just playing into stereotypes and until those are done away with NO one on either side can move forward, there is far to much generalization on both side IMO and it gets bloody old real quick I might add.
For the people that look at me a sneer for being married to a black man I shake my head and wonder just how low your IQ is to actually think I would marry someone based on colour.I married the man NOT his colour and for the others that rant and hate because I am white [his family included] is it so bad to want your husband to succeed and get ahead, we own our own house have no car notes etc etc because we worked damm hard to get to this place.........oddly enough his family can put aside their hate of me long enough to ask me to bail them out YET again, when I do they just keep coming back, when I will not I am that white boich..............BUT I do not take that type of mentality to every person I meet, otherwise you would miss out on some great people, dont judge everyone till they give you a reason to.

i'm hispanic. my best friend is african mixed with caucasian. another of my closest friends is indian. crazy huh.
i don't think that all white people racist.
of course, there are SOME white racist, as there are black racists, and asian racists, and hispanic racists, and whatever else there is racists.
it think it's all a matter of how a certan community expresses itself and stands up for itself.
but..hmmmm. i don't know.
but if you wrote this as a poem,
it's pretty cool.
lots of emotion in it.
made me see YOUR point of view and i agree,
we as a multiracial community CAN be taking things too literally or something.
so..idk.
i do'nt even know what stance to take, cuz both sides have really good points.
so PLEASE, don't generalize and say that we all think that you're racists or something.
cuz not all of us believe that.
:)

Why is it that whites can be called racists? Because whites are the majority. What you refer to as "special" treatment (***** College Fund, MLK day, etc.) is not special treatment at all. It's minorities looking for equal treatment. And in part, things like Black History Month and Cesar Chavez Day is out there for ignorant white people, so they can better understand other cultures and what oppresses them.
If you're white, you don't really know the hardships that non-whites go through because of their ethnicities. You don't know what it means to have less opportunity than everyone else.
And you do have WET (the so called "White Entertainment Television"). It's every channel out there that isn't BET. Why do you think they made BET in the first place.
Instead of forwarding some rant that divides, try doing something productive. It's easier to hate than to not fully understand.

Very good...these are valid arguments of which are rarely brought forth by political leaders (infected by political correctness) or the mainstream media. Racism is not strictly confined to those of white skin color, but rather it is able to infect any person who is closed minded and lacks an understanding of cultural diversity and respect. Another point is this incessant use of ____-American or _____-American. We (the majority of us) have been born here within these United States, which makes us AMERICANS.

The problem with "white pride" is the same as the problem with "black pride": the claim of uniqueness or superiority of one group of people based solely upon their particular skin color.
Ethnic pride is okay: there is nothing wrong or racist about having Irish Pride, for example, or German Pride, or Swahili, Chinese, or Eskimo Pride. Celebrating the culture and language of Ireland, Germany, China, or any other ethnic/cultural entity is a perfectly moral activity, so long as there's no ethnic-superiority baggage attached to the celebration. Being from Deutschland or Finland or [insert ethnic/cultural homeland here] is great.
But there is no such place as Whiteland or Blackland with the unique cultural and linguistic heritage of a true ethnic group -- therefore, nothing to be proud of.
The black pride and white pride movements have little to do with pride and everything to do with antagonism towards the ethnic "other". In reality, of course, there are no "others" -- God made only one race, the human race.
Celebrate European cultural and ethnic heritage? Certainly. But "white pride" -- pride in one's skin color -- is meaningless . If we celebrate anything, it should be the Judeo-Christian culture of the Western world, not some fanciful master race.

If it's any consolation, I don't think whites are racist. They are just viewed that way since they have been a powerful and productive race. Nothing wrong with being powerful and productive when you've worked hard and well for it.

first, them calling us "cracker" is not ok. That's where your rant is flawed.
Sure, they have the United ***** College Fund, but we whites have SOO much more. And they don't "have" black history month. Black history month is for US to learn about THEM, to avoid stupid rants like yours. (Besides, even in this fallacy, we'd still have the other 11 months! Double flawed!)
White Pride Day? Are you kidding me? The only reason any group has a "pride day" is because they are the minority and they are not as accepted in society as white people. someone else said it before me-- they are looking for EQUAL treatment not special treatment!!
And whoever said "Slavery is OVER, GET OVER IT" -- I just feel sorry for you. Sure u hate hearing about it, but no one is blaming you PERSONALLY. Unless you've been a slave yourself, you have to have some level of understanding as to the long term generational effects of slavery on blacks. When someone horribly deceives you, how long does it take to trust them again? Now you understand how blacks feel about whites. It's not hard.
And actually, blacks DID help build this country. Who do you think plowed the fields and picked the cotton? What about the inventions of George Washington Carver? See, if you studied Black History you would understand! Do yourself a favor and stick to the military, where your master tells you what to do. Because thinking for yourself is a disaster.
To all my ignorant white brothers and sisters who post crap like this and who agree with it, congratulations, you keep racism alive and well!
[reply to heartstrings] Your attitude is dismissive. "Get over it" is a grave simplification. Yes, it was generations ago, but that doesn't mean it has no relevance today. If it weren't relevant today, you and I wouldn't be talking about it now.
And, if America was already BUILT, then why would whites need slaves?
And what books are you referring to, white european history books? Nice. That should clear up everything.
You are doing yourself a disservice by not digging deeper into what kind of legacy slavery has left for society. *sigh*
