I have a salvaged window & want to use it as a frame (on the wall). I want to attach pictures to the reverse side of the glass.

If these are treasured photos then get color copies made of them so you will be able to preserve the originals. Cut to fit the pane then cover the front of the copy with a thin layer of Beacon's Liquid Laminate ( you have to work quickly and spread with your fingers because it dries fast )and apply adhesive side down on the window. Another coat of the Laminate on the back will protect it and make it permanent. Another way to use color copies is to apply clear packing tape on the front of the picture and smooth in place making sure there is no gap in your seams. Then soak the picture for a few minutes in warm water. Take it out and start rubbing the paper off the back until you are left with a clear decal of your original picture. Apply to the window with the Liquid Laminate. The liquid Laminate is available at craft stores and in larger Walmarts. It can be removed from your fingers with lots of soap and warm water.

What I would do is past the pictures on a clear piece of thick plastic or plexiglass and cut it to fit in against the glass you can put a dab of clear silicone in each corner to hold it in place.

use a spray adhesive made for mounting paper and photos. You should be able to get it at a craft store. Test it on a photo you don't particularly like, so you can figure out how heavy to spray.
