Do you mean as a nickname? It's funny you should ask that!! My husbands best friend has that nickname!! And, it fits him soooo well!! LOL But, if you mean actually naming a baby that; that would be really strange!! Not to mention all the teasing he would endure at school, when kids realize what "anus" means!! Don't do it!! pleasseee.....

My husband works with a guy named ANIS.... ( it is pronounced a-neece) We've had many laughs over it though.
Funny thing about the ring.... and no, I would NEVER name a child ANUS- ring or no ring!!

Why not go the whole hog and call him/her sphyncter.Poor child has to go through its whole life with your chosen name,most peiple put a bit more thought into it

HA HA HA what a question [could you imagine the stick this poor kid would get at school!!!!!] NO WAY would i ever dream of calling my kid that. saying that like Gweneth called her kid apple i think she must have been high off the drugs what they give you during labour !!!!!
