Only if they like them and only if you use them as reinforcement for talking when you train them.
The use of peppers as a "medicinal" property for inducing speech is not going to happen.
This is a new one...I'm curious. Where did you hear this?

I never fed my parrot peppers. I fed him ice cream out of a measuring cup and he held it with the handle and ate out of it standing on one foot. The parrot talks from hearing something over and over.
When the phone would ring , my mother would always say hello, then when about to hang up she'd say O.K, bye bye.
So when the phone would ring the parrot would say , "Hello, OK,bye bye." After being outside the parrot would mock birds and dogs barking.

Do you think you would have started talking sooner if your mom fed you peppers?? Of course not! Poor parrot.

Parrots have a mind of their own..They learn when you spend a lot of time with them teaching them..you can't speed up the learning process

mine love peppers talk to them more and they will learn faster also play radio or tv near them
