If anything, what do you want to be known for when you die? If you don't want to be known for anything don't respond. However, I'm interested to know what you'll leave behind for your kids to remember. What message did you send to them? What kind of person were you? Tell me why I should be like you! You obviously don't want to be remebered as someone who believed in a higher power. So what are you all about?

I want to be remembered as someone who loved much and deep. I want people to remember me as a happy person who tried to make those around her smile when they were down. I want my children to remember a mom who took time to teach them many things about family, heritage, tolerance, and being a good Christian. My children will be the legacy I leave. I want them to shine with all the good things that they will accomplish because they will know nothing is beyond your reach but what you limit yourself with.

You are right, I do not want my kids to remember me as a superstitious numbskull.

I want to teach them to value their humanity and to respect that of everyone else. To respect the earth and to stop destroying her and find ways of fixing what has already been destroyed. To enjoy nature - the beauty, the diversity - let the churchgoing neighbors destroy all the little Bambis while we go on a nature hike. To question everything - especially people on soapboxes, whether they are clerics, educators, politicians, whatever. To explore their creative impulses - whether in fine arts, domestic arts, laying bricks, or collecting trash - a process is always open to improvement. To dream, to imagine, to help, to volunteer. To excel - anything worth doing is worth doing well. I could go on and on, but you get the drift.....

to the best I can in the circumstances I find myself in, like the Dalai Lama

known for helping people seek out spirituality without defining what it is and assist them in self discovery of thier own truths

my legacy to my children, breaking out of centuries of dogma and tradition centered around a vicious and domineering religion that has destroyed humanity, the offshoot cults of Judaism - Islam and Christianity and raised my kids in an environment where they can learn non manipulating ways, no abuse and free to ask questions and teach parents if it comes to that...sometimes they see things we can't due to our doctrines and experience

helping others, loving myself, and being a good steward...leaving this place better than I found it, standing for truth, justice, equity, dignity, honor, respect and reason

I'd like to be remembered as a giggly person who could find humor and lightheartedness in every situation.

Ah, the "Flux Compassator" would be cool too (giggle).

I'd like to be known as a kind, just, generous man who always tried to learn from his mistakes. Unfortunately that's not true, so I'll have to settle for "He was an OK guy ... usually."

I would like to be remembered by my daughter as a good father. Beyond that, I wouldn't mind being remembered for being a fabulously wealthy fellow.

I want to be remembered for encouraging my children to think and question EVERYTHING they are taught and told. I want to be remembered for fostering compassion towards my fellow man, tolerance of others, and intelligent decision making processes. I want to be remembered as one who helped assist in the downfall of intolerant religions.
