Really isn't a difference. Hangin out with the friend who's a girl is just hanging out with a friend. Usually when you are friends with a girl and don't want to commit to going out, it's because you love her too much and you don't want that relationship to be ruined. Just be more of a gentleman when with the girlfriend, if you get my drift.

I held hands with my G/F, well not quite GF, but friends with benefits. she slept on my sholder while coming home from a 5 hour drive at midnight. :) I geuss the difference would be just in words and commitment. like as friends you can still look for other girls, but with GF's it's set in stone. but ya, show affection through holding hands, kissing, snuggling and whatnot. you'll both feel the connection.

your friend that is a girl should not have a physical attraction to you or you to her...your just friends...your girlfriend however, will have an emotional attachment to you as you should to her. You would rub your gf's back, hold her hand, kiss her, play with her hair....you would give the friend that is a girl a high five and make her smell your farts

It's so not affectionat to just hang out with a friend who just happens to be a girl. I've got plenty of Guy friends, who aren't boyfriends. Just hanging and being friendly doesn't imply anything sexual.

uhh...come on now, are you retarded. One you are just strictly friends with, the other can be your girlfriend and can be one of your best friends still, but the feelings are so much stronger. If you knew, you wouldnt be asking this question!

when you are with ur gf you gotta bathe and not fart. hanging out with a friend who's a girl is less restrictive.

it is a close line. If you want to hold her hand or you kiss her then you crossed that line.Ask her what she thinks.
