Simple, Paul types three fourths as fast as Jennifer.

Put another way, anything Jennifer types in 3 minutes it takes Paul 4 minutes to type.

Specify the ratio of Paul's speed to Jennifer's speed. 60 --- 80 Now reduce this fraction by dividing the numerator and denominator by 20: 3 -- 4 So Paul can type 3/4 as fast as Jennifer. C) 3/4 as fast

Put it into a ratio.

60 words/sec : 80 words/sec

You can cancel out words/sec (since both sides share it), which results in:

60:80

Divide each by the highest shared common denominator. In this case it would be 20, which results in the following ratio:

3:4

Thus, for every 3 words Paul types, Jennifer types 4 in the same amount of time.

We don't know until we know the number of errors Jennifer makes and the number of errors that Paul makes. The one who types the most CORRECT words per minute is the one I'd hire.

Jennifer can type 20 more words a minute than Paul. Thus, Jennifer can type 1200 more words an hour than Paul.

If this is a school assignment, you must be in like first grade.

you can either use ratios or percentages to explain this for example paul types 3:4 the speed of jenifer or75% of jenifers speed or jenifer types 4:3 fasteer then paul or 133.3repeated% faster then paul. Also rember this should have been a fair compairison of speeds ie. errrors must have been taken into account
