It's okay that she eats it, though dog food would be better for her. I have 14 dogs and 5 cats and my Chihuahua refuses to eat anything but cat food and popcorn. I've had the vet check her over and he says that she's healthy, and that it's better she eat cat food than nothing at all.
You may want to consider giving her vitamin supplements along with the cat food, your vet can tell you what kind and how much you need.

I had dogs prefer the cat food and cats fight the dog for kibble. maybe there is something in it your dog likes or it just might be being a pig. Animals often will eat what makes no sense, but often they are after something not in their regular feed. no single feed will supply everything that every animal needs. Even though the bag says complete diet it would be like you living on one variety of process food. Not healthy and boring. Everything likes some variety, but some animals just get funny food habits even though they don't need anything extra in what they are eating.

No. Cats and dogs require a different diet. If you leave both your animals food out than my recommendation would be to buy Science Diets Mix it formula canned food. This was made for dogs and cats that tend to eat each others food. But eventually your going to want to ween them both off this formula. Also, you do not want to constantly feed wet food. Their main diet should be kibble. Wet food can cause excess gas.

Dogs will eat anything that doesn't eat them first.

There are different vitamins for dogs than cats. It won't hurt him if he eats it every once in a while, as long as he eats dog food primarily.

I wouldn't give it to her every day. It may upset her stomach and it definately doesn't have the vitamins and every day nutritional value that she would get from dog food. Most dogs eat whatever's there, so just pick it up after the cat eats, just to be safe.

NO it's not, my dog ate a different kind of dog food that was for large breeds and we had to take her to the vets and they said since your dog was eating a food that wasn't made for them she had kidney stones. We had to give her surgery.

It depends on what the food is and whether or not it meets your dog's nutritional requirements. Talk to your vet.
