I am having visibility issues with the rear window when pulling out of parking spots and my garage. I am concerned about this since the rear window is small and there are small children where I live. I know the back camera is an option (to see when car is in reverse), but I did not purchase the navigation system. I didn't know this was an issue until after I made the purchase.

Has anyone added this feature (or similar features) after they have purchased a new car?? Has anyone experienced this same issue with this car??

Thanks!

I ain't never owned no such a fancy ride as a Lexus, but I can tell you this......no matter what you drive, you'll have far fewer difficulties if you BACK into your parking spaces. It might take some getting used to,but it's much safer. You've already eliminated any on-coming traffic as a hazard,as they'll all have to stop to let you finish manuevering. From there it's easy....just ease your way out.You have a more commanding view through your windshield,as you're now emerging nose first!

Raise your seat higher so you can have a better angle when backing up. It's never to late to add a rear camera or sonar system to warn when someone or something is behind you.
