In the UK you legally cannot apply for more than £500 credit if you are bankrupt. and even if you apply for it you will not be approved for it. You cannot even open a bank account in most cases.
So no you cant. it is Illegal for you to apply for credit over this amount.
Sorry.

Not in your own name.

It has become too easy to borrow these days. You're stuck in a dead zone and the lenders are still going home to slap-up meals and not worrying about the next penny, whereas you (whom they treated like a king for a while) are an ex-statistic on their books. You have no identity; no future (for the next few years).

Always live within your means and you will not be without the means to live.

Nope, wouldn't have thought so as you can't have a bank account can you? No reputable company would set up credit without a bank account and using a non-reputable one could land you in far more trouble than bankruptcy if you can't make the repayments.........

Why would you want one? You've already been made bankrupt because you couldn't repay your debts.. why would you want to start on that slippery slope all over again?

I wouldn't even apply for a loan if I were bankrupt, even if it would be approved. I mean how would I repay it?
