Go to your vet. They have meds that can take care of it in one dose or two!

You can never completely cure a dog with worms because it can always pick them back up again. If you don't want to go to the vet yet, you can always go to a store that sells worming medicine. I paid about $8.00 for treatment for one dog. You give it to him for 3 days in a row,

My husband rescued a 8 months old dog and we wanted to get some weight on him before we visited the vet. He went from 10 pounds to 12 pounds in 2 weeks, and we used this worming medicine on him.The vet said that he didn't have any worms at all.

I use bleach to spray down the ground where the dog kennel is at. This helps keep the worm eggs down. Some worms do burrow into the feet of dogs, but this is more common in warmer locations.

It is normal for puppies to get worms from their moms. It is nothing to worry about, as long as you take steps to get rid of the worms.Worms are gross, but luckily the medicine can get rid of them.

The best place to go to find out what you need to know is your local vet. If you have aquired a puppy, go to the vet to get it checked out, have the puppy incoculated and get it wormed and have a course of worming tablets to get it started on the road of good health and take your dog to the vet for annual boosters and you will have a happy healthy dog.

From your vet. In order to know exactly what type(s) of worms you are dealing with you need to take a stool sample in to the vet to be tested. The vet will then give you the appropriate dewormer.
Never use OTC dewormers as they are worthless and can in fact be dangerous to your dog/puppy. Also they may not be appropriate for the type(s) of worms you are dealing with.

It's important to take a stool sample to a vet so the worms may be identified. Different medications work to kill different worms and you need to be sure you're giving your pup the correct medication. It's important you start your pup on heartworm preventative as soon as it's old enough, too. There's no substitute for regular vet visits to keep your dog healthy, especially when it's a puppy.

Hope that helps! :)

Take your puppy and a sample of his poo to the vet. They will check it there and then be able to tell you and give medication on the type of worms it has. Most puppies have worms, but you need to treat them.

Go to the vet and get worming pills, information enough! Do not use the over the counter ones, they are useless.

If you go to the vet's they will give them chewable tablets and the dogs like them and that prevents and gets rid of worms. You can just ask your vet if you thinks its worse then that.
