We all inherited our congenital sin defect from our great-great-great ... great-great ... greatgrandfather, Adam, and we all now have new improved Tide with Jesus blood to wash it way. So isn't adding dirt to an already dirty shirt not a big deal? Is there some kind of mega dirt that new improved Tide with Jesus blood won't wash out?

Jesus' blood will wash away all sin- but going back to your tide- dirt analogy- if you cleaned your shirt and got it back to clean, why would you try to get it dirty again- or would you attempt to avoid the dirt staining your shirt knowing that you were fortunate to get it cleaned the first time. The tide didn't have to work. If you believe, why would you even ask this question. True Christianity is not knowing that every time you sin you will be forgiven, it's knowing that the one who forgives sent His Son to die in order that we might be saved.

the big deal about sin is that its wages is death.

yes, there is no kind of mega dirt that the blood of Jesus cannot wash whiter than snow.

but because God is sinless and you (me, & everyone else) are a sinner, the only way we can come before a sinless God is through the blood of Jesus.

when we sin, we turn away from God (as in we go back to playing in the mud again thus soiling our whitened clothes).

& the only way to can come back to God is to repent & to ask for the washing and cleansing of the blood.

and yes, we all came from a single "Eve" whom men of science have already traced to have lived in the continent of Africa & it was not from Adam that you inherited your original sin... but from your great to the nth power grandmother Eve.

There is no such thing as sin.

Sin, like all moral judements is simply a mental construct of man. What is called "sin" changes from time to time and place to place based on the conventions of human society. Just read the old testament and you'll be amazed at what behaviors are actually labeled "sin".

Consider murder for example. Most people think murder is a "sin." Yet many religious people support war and capital punishment, while rejecting suicide or assisted death for terminally ill people suffering horrible pain as being "sinful."

There are only two types of thougths and actions. Love based, or fear based. All actions produce consequences. Love based actions produce positive consequences, fear based actions produce negative consequences.

That's the law, and you don't need anybody outside of yourself to label any specific actions as "sin" to guide you through your choices in life.

if you are a true born again believer you will not want to sin. In fact if you are a child of god and you are sinning and it is not bothering you then I question your salvation. The Bible says to repent(turn away) from sin. If you are a true Christian and you keep on sinning willfully god may kill you or worse cripple you or a member of your family. When you get saved your job is to witness to others about Jesus. Are you doing that?

You already know the answer to your question and the way you pose your question, with disrespect and sarcasm is distasteful at the very least. Jesus died for you and your sins and this is how you respect Him?????
