Alot of people responded with..1 John 1:8-10
If we say, "We are without sin," we deceive ourselves, 3 and the truth is not in us. If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing. If we say, "We have not sinned," we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

You didnt read these verses
1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

So your still WEAK

Unfortunately you've been programmed to NOT GET IT.
I don't have time to write on this subject and the text that you reference.

I think you mean well, but if you should ever begin to doubt your convictions, remember this : alot of people in times past have slipped down the path you're going.................many of them drank kool-aid and died. You're in the wrong flock.

Brother, I pray for you. Peace.

You're reading to wrong.
God gives us the grace not to sin. That doesn't mean we accept the grace at all times. The point of the pericope is grae, not perfection. We are not Pelagians.

You'd think if it was an "inspired" book, it would say the same thing to everyone, that would be a sure sign...no?
