I am almost phobic about being naked in front of anyone. I have a small penis and I am really embarrassed by the thought of somebody seeing it. I don't even like to be seen in shorts or swimtrunks.

How can I overcome this negative body image and get comfortable in my own skin. I'd like to be able to go to the gym or swimming pool.

help! i want to stop being afraid and stop hiding!

If it's really a problem for you, try seeking a behavioral therapist (these are the kinds that work on specific fears, not the whole "what was your relationship with your mother" type)

Also, as a gal who's been with a few men - I know that size is NOT everything. A man who wants to please me - will find a way to please me ;-)

I have little bumps all over my body (Neurofibromatosis) and it took me years to be comfortable letting guys see me naked. Turns out they made no big deal over my condition. If I were you, I'd walk around the house/ apartment au natural while you're alone, and make sure you look in the mirror often. First you have to get used to just being nude by yourself. Some famous guys, like Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray, have actually BRAGGED about their small pe's!

You should stay in clothes. Try being naked around yourself and feel comfortable with that before you go around other people.
People won't see your small penis if you are in swim trunks.
