I get these occassional creative rushes, when i write or mostly create a wonderful work of art. I feel like im on top of the world sometimes, and soemtimes i feel like crap. I want to go home and daydream while im at school. I feel like others invade my mind when im thinking. I cant concentrate on one thing, and i find it very hard to focus. i often doodle in my notebooks more than usual. I feel sudden rushes of madness daily and sudden rushes of happiness daily/weekly. I often get bugged by the tiniest of things, like if someone pronounces soemthing wrong i start to scream at them why they are so stupid. it sounds absolutely horrible i want it to stop. i also think my dad is bipolar, too. he gets mad daily, just like i do. i dont know if it runs genetically, though. ll add that later. but these are all of my symptoms help

It might very well be hormones, they misdiagnosed me as bipolar when I was only about 13 years old, I was on about 13 different kinds of meds most of them 3 times a day, they all made me veryyyy sick. They gave me too much, & called it an "accidental overdose" & my liver nearly shut down, I couldn't walk or hardly talk and I was throwing up Bile. I felt so bad and so discouraged, like it was my fault that I wasn't getting better even on all the medication, so I took 83 sleeping pills & came very close to taking my own life, I'm very lucky someone found me. Afterwards I stopped taking all my meds on my own and didn't tell anyone ( NEVER do that, it can be VERY dangerous ) and I felt so much better. This is my own personal experience , I was on the medication for years, I knew my body and that that wasn't right. You may be & may not be, be sure to get more than one opinion , you might need some meds for depression or anxiety, but don't depend on online tests alone, be sure to talk to someone. Things like that are too tough to go through alone. Better to be safe than sorry.

Any one at any age can have bipolar. What you can do is keep a little diary of how you feel. The highs and Lowe's. Take this to your Dr. sometimes they will refer to a specialist. Sometimes just sharing helps and other times medicine in the form of pills. Don't be afraid there are alto of people with that. it is OK. With ever thing teen have to deal with now a days it is no wonder you are under stress. But talk with you parents and talk with you Dr. let them know what is going on and make sure you write it down with times and days. It will be ok.

Bipolar can be confused with many other conditions, all very similar. Most doctors will prescribe medications...

My belief is it's your habits that cause your psychological mood swings. Eat a healthier diet, excersize more, and use your will power to control your mind... and you will deal with it w/out potentially harmful medications.

Psychiatry is mostly a waste of time too. The only way to cure yourself, is to cure yourself through mind-power. Hard to describe, I recommend the books of Richard Bandler and anything regarding NLP to change yourself.

Probably refer you to another doctor who specializes in mental disorders.

Sorry, it sounds like you might be bi-polar........if you have a real high feeling and then real low feelings.........they will most likely put you on medication.
