For example, my older sister usually relaxes my hair for me, but since I didn't have money to give her, one time I did it myself. Everyone complimented me on my hair, including my mother, who didn't know I had done it. But, when I finally told my mother that I was the one who did my hair, she frowned and said "You shouldn't do that because your hair could come out." Mind you, my hair didn't come out at all. In fact, I had no problems while doing it or after I did it. My father is the same way, and so are some of my other relatives. Everythinig I do or have done, they expect me to screw it up, even if I do a good job of it. And they very rarely compliment something I do. Why are they like this?
