I've been in a relationship with a really nice guy for almost 4 years. The other night he asked me to put handcuffs on him. I thought this was really weird but I love him and decided to go along with it.

I handcuffed his hands behind his back and closed the cuffs tight so they touched his wrists. He sat in a chair and put his arms over the back of the chair to feel more comfortable.

Then he asked me to put a piece of tape over his mouth.

I never knew he was into this kind of thing. This is all new to me. It's not that I oppose to doing it, it's just that it's all new to me and the way he asked was sincere, but awkwardly timed.

He sat there for a while until he mumbled to me. I let him go but then he asked me to tie the tape around his wrists behind his back and to put another piece of tape over his mouth.

I'm not sure how to react to his new fetish. It doesn't bother me. I tried asking him about this "activity" and he didn't "open up" completely.

Maybe he has seen something in a porn or somewhere that turned him on and he wanted to try it out. It may be just experimental. You should try talking to him again to see if he can give you some insight. Let him know that you don't mind doing it but that you had no idea he liked this sort of thing. Tell him that if this is part of him you as his partner should know about it and why he enjoys it as that is part of an open communication relationship. Most people that are into bondage have a very open communication line with their partner/captor. He needs to know this and establish good communication about it. Also you may want to set up some sort of safety signal just in case something happens and he wants out.

React to it with kindness and understanding. If you can't live with it then you better get another boyfriend. On the other hand, it doesn't sound like he is asking all that much of you and it is something that he enjoys. While I wouldn't necessarily discuss it at the Thanksgiving table with all his family, what is the harm if you keep it just between the two of you (and the millions of Yahoo Answers readers)?

Well don't be afraid to try new things. Have fun with it and just remember, give and take. You like doing it a certain way than tell him. Guys like feeling dominated by the woman sometimes. It's arousing and sexy for a woman to be naughty and take charge. Just have fun with it!!!

I love doing this to my husband! He probably watched some on tv or the internet and got some new ideas to spice things up in the bedroom. He probably didn't even realize he enojyed this sort of thing before.

dont do anything your uncomfortable with.

you have been going out for this long and obviosuly mean a lot to eachother so dont blow it on this but still, tell him about ANYTHING that your not comfortable with because otherwise the level of trust in your relationship will go down and that can only lead to problems.......

good luck =)

my husbands best friend is into that. so far his new wife is having a little bit of a hard time accepting it all but i think it is neat for her to explore that side of him. he isnt a bad guy or anything, that is just what he likes. talk to him about it. he has a better answer than any of us will.

Then act upset about it. If he doesn't want to lose you and you play like you're leaving, you'll get the truth outta him. And if his fetish bothers you (which it sounds like it does), then you should tell him.
