I am 27 years old but, I like this guy whom is only 20. He is very mature for his age and we seem to get along great. He enjoys spending time with my son. He is very polite and has a great sense of humor. Am I wrong to like him???

I prefer to think it is the person and how they make you feel that is important versus the age. I am dating a man that is 11 years older than I am and it has been wonderful. People are different and mature differently so if you are happy...don't worry about the age...you're still not old enough to be his mother, lol. If he is good to you and your son then that is all that matters.

Its not bad to like a younger guy than yours, however it would be suggested to be patient in choosing your partner and to know him for some time and then come to any conclusions. Sometimes its been seen that when the responsibilities come along people tend to change. And in your case as he is still in early 20's it would be very difficult for one to understand the complexities of a relationship.

All the Best!!!

If you were 24 and he was 17, I would say you should back off. But since he is over 18, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a 7 year age difference.

No, that's an acceptable age gap. You're still the same generation. There's 10.5 years between my mum and dad, he was 27 and she 17 when they got married, which is stretching it a bit.
A girl I once knew, who was 18, started dating a 36 year old man -- now that's wrong. He's old enough to be her dad!
Keep it within your generation.

You are totally not wrong! I once dated a man who was 43 and I was 19. We were an excellent match and I loved him. Like they say age is just a number. Plus, its an ago boost to get someone over five years younger than you!

He's in his 20's so no you're not wrong. I think you should both be in the same place in your life and age doesn't matter after 19. If he's in college and still finding himself and your done with that, it might be a factor.

No way is it wrong for you to like him. Age doesn't have to determine if someone is a good person and as long as you are both of legal age for doing naughty things, it's fine. Good luck to ya.

As long as you feel that he is mature enough to handle the situation and you feel that he is in fact good with your son...Age shouldn't matter
