Yes - google "freezer alarm" and there are many to choose from.
Basically it's a temperature probe you put in the freezer. The probe is connected by a length of wire to a small unit which fixes (magnetic/sticky pads) outside the freezer and makes the alarm sound. The wire is quite fine and does not affect the normal closing of the freezer.

Yes, there is a freezer alarm which can be bought which alerts the owner if the temperature climbs above a certain amount. Ask at a local electrical store, or check out suppliers on the net.

I wish there was. Recently ive had a massive build up of ice in my freezer. Not only is it annoying as you have to spend thawing it out or chopping it away(prefered option) but it saps energy and costs you a small fortune. If you wanna go halves on inventing something give me a call ha ha

Have you tried giving the freezer door a visual inspection at the end of each visit?
You can tell alot about a thing just by looking at it.

very simple ,go to a good kitchen shop and buy an alarm. I have one that's shaped like an apple and it sends out a bleep.bleep as the light hits it .You have to go and close the door as the bleeping could drive you up the wall and to change the battery is easy as its one of the round watch batteries. I expect you could go on line to some gadget shop like "Lakeland" there lots of kitchen sites so have a look round and good luck

Cold skin? Molded lettuce? The dog freely digging through your shopping food? The tempreture adjuster not responding like it used to? Not sure, but I'd guess there's something out there.

Im sure that you would be able to get a sensor but you really just have to pay attention yourself.
