Bananas or protein shakes. Or Power Bars. I love to go to Jamba too, and get an enlightened smoothie with the vita boost. The body sucks all the nutrients right up immediately following a workout.

Cananans after so you replace potassium.

Just FYI....carbs the night before an endurance workout or run...you'll see marathoner's eat a spaghetti dinner the night before a big race.

You want to eat food that is nutritious, but not real heavy. Fruit is a great choice. Bananas and Watermelon are good choices. Cereal or other whole grain food is smart also. Follow up with a large glass of water.

Something with easily digestible carbohydrates. Gatorade immediately after, then after an hour or so a spaghetti dinner.
