There is a *phenomenon*, I don't know if I'd call it a disease yet, called 'Morgellons' where people report string-like stuff coming out of their skin, along with other symptoms. It's not recognized by medicine yet. Type that word into a search engine like Yahoo or Google or Wikipedia and you'll find lots of info.

Yes, this sometimes happens from a very advanced lyme disease infection. Its called morgellons

hmmm I dunno it might be called hair, not so important now, but many many years ago it was for protection........*gasp* amazing
