At the outset, there appears to be a difference but, in a stricter sense, there is only this:
Knowing that God or a God exist follows a belief in God or a God. Belief is based on faith while knowing is a by-product of such conviction. Therefore, it is not so much as a difference in meaning than an evolution of idea.

Dear Soul...
Satan believes in God and knows that God exists; Satan is going into the Lake of Fire for eternity...
Religion is man's way of trying to reach God.
Relationship is the living God's way of reaching us, through Jesus Christ.
So now I ask you...do you have a personal relationship with the living God and His Son Jesus?
Read Heb. 10:25...We are being told not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together (meeting with other Christians).
It edifies (lifts up) our spirit. It's good being around other like minded Christians.
If you don't know God's Word (reading the Holy Bible) how can you tell the truth from the lies? How do you rebuke the lies of the enemy?
It's something you need to pray about.

You are quite misguided, my friend. Why do you think he gave us the gift of intelligent thinking. It is what separates us from the animals. Now, before you blow your top, some animals can think up to a point, but they have no reasoning. The only thing they have is instict.
If we were incapable of knowing or learning anything, how could we find out what there is to know about God? He wants us to know right from wrong, to be able to worship Him, and to reason things for ourselves.

you've not fallen from grace only because you're in love with someone who wouldn't have an identical faith as you. it really is worry-free to be a Christian and marry this guy, in spite of the indisputable fact that, the Bible does say it really is incorrect to be unequally yoked. it really is a sin, and Christians do sin. i'd propose hostile to marrying this guy, yet in case you've already got, or in case you sense there is no way you will get out of it, then so be it. The Bible would not say that in case you sin you'll Hell, it says that in case you do not position self belief in Jesus then you actually are not to any extent further a Christian. i don't think of you should get married till you sense it really is okay one way or the different, yet i imagine your mum and dad have it somewhat incorrect and favor to get their Bibles out. A crowd changed into about to stone a lady contained in the Bible for committing adultery and Jesus suggested to the gang, "enable he who hasn't sinned forged the first stone". no man or woman threw a stone because all of them had sinned. i imagine you want to make your ideas up what God needs you to do. do not pay interest on your mum and dad or the human beings on right here or anybody else, no longer even your boyfriend. study the Bible and are available to a decision what God is telling you to do. it somewhat is the suitable advice i will supply. i don't think of you or your mum and dad are undesirable human beings, yet there is no reason to be embarrassed about being a Christian, and Christians ought to no longer condemn human beings like they have some more beneficial power, God is the choose over all, and he needs Christians to be loving those who instruct how large God is through performing like Christians and residing through religion, no longer through sight. No Christian is perfect, yet we ought to continually continually be accomplishing for God's plan in our lives and attempting to do his will for us. i'm hoping that permits, God bless.

Many people know that God exists but do not have a relationship with Him. He calls us to seek Him and to get to know Him.

Not to offend you in any shape or form but if you were reading your word like you should God wanted us to go forth and make disciples. Which means once you are saved to get in your word and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He also gave us the word (bible) to help us on earth with our everyday living situations.

Where do come up with this stuff?
You have to know God, and have a relationship with Him.
If you don't want to know Him here on earth, why would you want to know him for an eternity. He's just helping you out.

I think its the same thing, but you have to believe that Jesus was God as well and that he died and was resurrected to have salvation, just simply believing in God is not sufficient according to the Bible.
