How do dogs and cats and monkey and elephants and horses and all the other creatures we share this earth with look at their offspring and not believe in god?

This is a presumption and an offensive one. Are you saying that parents who don't think their children are gifts from god are not as good as you? Are you saying that my gorgeous 18 month old daughter is a gift from an invisible skydaddy that I don't acknowledge? Or are you saying that I'm not an appreciative mother since I don't thank your god for her? Is it that we are given children in order to believe? Then why don't we all believe?Biology has nothing to do with it? This is a ridiculous, offensive question.

Because i understand the smallest bit about evolution and genetics. If child birth is a miracle from god, then what's taking a dump? How are they different? They are both natural processes fully explained by science...no gods required.

How can you look at the biblical God who slaughtered hundreds of innocent firstborns and ordered the butchering of thousands more in raids by Jews against their enemies (all of it documented in the books of the OT) and believe that this is the same God who "gave" you your "beautiful child"?

For the same reason you can look at your beautiful child and believe he/she is.

What? Are you saying your faith(mine, too) should automatically be held by all? Are you saying that if I see it as a gift from some other god or just a gift from my wife and I to the world I am somehow evil? Please help me understand your need for asking this.

You mean like the child of a rape victim...or the ones killed in the Bible...hmm...

Your question is romantic, but not plausible

You have a child because you performed the necessary action/s for it to happen.

A child is only a biological result of sperm fertilizing an egg. Not miraculous at all. Every species in nature reproduces, humans are not any different or special.

Speaking only for me, I know my son is a gift from God.

Easy...my children are products of the merging of genes from my husband and myself and also products of our ancestors. God had nothing to do with it...unless I have produced 3 virgin birth children!

I truly believed in miracles the moment i saw my newborn daughter. I have no idea how a person can look in a childs eyes and not believe in god.
