I think if they are adults, ten or so years shouldn't make any difference! I think a 57 year old with a 26 yr old isn't a good match, as she will be a young widow or a young woman/ man with an old mate in a nursing home..not a lot of fun or fair to the younger person. Besides, that big of a difference shows either the older person has a control problem and can't control someone their own age...or is totally immature. They could have children that age. It silly!
But 10 to even 15 yrs. could work well..especially if the older is the woman, as women tend to live longer.
I married a guy 10 yrs younger when I was 35 and he was 25...he was too young, and it ended. 21 years later..with my children grown, I married a 47 yr old and I'm 57yrs and we have a ball. Most people think I'm younger then he is, as I have a lot of energy and look younger. We have a great marriage and adore each other. We share each others interests and take time to enjoy life. He challenges me to try things an older mate may have said I was to old to do. I love it! He keeps me young! I think IF two people have similar interests and goals, and dreams, it can be a great marriage.

Yes I do. I totally think it is cool for women in there 40's to date up to 15 years younger. Some men get layed back when they hit 40 and the women still want to have fun. That is where the youth come in, we need a man to keep us young and not one that reminds us that we are not as young as we use to be. I am not 40 yet and have more than decade before I reach it but I can appreciate mature women having fun.

I think it works out. The reason is because men are more stable and don't think women should take care of them. It seems like relationships where the woman is 10 years younger aren't as strong and it's because the woman is much more immature.

not a problem you are only as old as you act . if the individual 10yrs younger doesn't mind then it should not matter. some people 40 feel 30 so do what feels right if someone 40 doesn't like it maybe there just jealous they cant find a 30 yr old

Our society doesn't seem to have a problem when a man dates a younger woman, so why wouldn't it be ok for a woman to do the same?
