2007 Honda Civic Sedan or 2007 Toyota Yaris Sedan?
Any pro's and con's for both would be great, too. I'm thinking the Yaris is cheaper but the Civic has more room inside.. thoughts?

I love my Honda Civic. I have a 2003 Civic EX Sedan with over 50000 miles. When I take it on the highway I easily get over 40 mpg (travelling an average of 75 mph.) The tires create a lot of road noise, just recently replaced my tires and thrilled to death with my Kumhos.

My only reservation with the Yaris is that it is a brand new model. Toyota is a reliable brand, but any new model is bound to have unresolved issues.

The civic has a much better resale value AND the Yaris is still pretty new so the repair bills may be a little high, supply and demand you know. Civics have been around forever and you can eaisly get aftermarket parts if necessary.

GO FOR HONDA I speak from personal experince, I have an 00 toyota corolla, which is a good car internally, but the handles on the doors, seat belts and the notches that hold my seat in place are all breaking, they are cheap cars that only have a good engine. My sister had the same experience with her toyaoto as well. Everyone I have known that owned a Honda, liked it much better and didn't have any problems with the car being mickey mouse built

Honda. Both are belt driven timing, but Hondas are cheaper to change.

honda lasts a very long time, whenever we buy a car, we get a honda. we have a 1998 honda accord that still runs absolutely perfectly and we've never had any problems

I'd go with the Civic, Toyota cars (although well built) tend to have less power.....
