I'm in the market for a new car, but I haven't decided on which make or model yet...there are quite a few to choose from!
My friend has a VW Golf and loves everything about it, except unfortunately she complains quite often about how the headlights and taillights are always going out. (I'm not sure if this is common or just her car?)
I want something reliable, will get good gas mileage, and won't cost alot if I need to take it to the shop. Is VW the way to go?
I was eyeing possibly the Jetta, Passat, or Beetle. Which of these do you like best and in which exterior color?

The absolute best Volkswagon when is comes to looks and fun would be the new Eos retractable hard top! However, if it must be a Jetta, Passat or Beetle, I would definitely go with a Charcoal Grey Jetta GLI. It is incredible how much better looking a Jetta GLI is than a lesser Jetta (quicker too)! Charcoal Grey will look far better than black. Black cars although nice looking, tend to hide the design details.

I have a navy beetle tdi get 38 mpg on road and 44 mpg on the high way getting diesel oil changes are almost the same the everything else for diesel cost the same sometimes diesel is gasonline is cheaper but u get an extra 10 miles with tdi even if u get a jetta or passat go with tdi also less repair i have put almost 40,000 on mine and i had one head light and one tail light blow but thats not bad with so many miles

I would definitely go with the Jetta in black. Great gas mileage, nice looking car, and proven to be reliable.

If price is not the issue.
The Golf GTI R32. There are three better performance cars out there for the price but I don't think you would go wrong with the R32.

Well for fuel, the jetta tdi white or black. for fast, the jetta vr6 white or black go with the mk4 jetta's the new ones are 5 cylinders
