Did you buy this dog from a breeder? If so call the breeder and let them know you would like to give her back. If they are a responsible breeder they will take her back.
Or look to see if you have any dog rescues in your area.
Let them know she has seizuers and see if they can take her.

I have 14 dogs, 3 kids, 5 cats, a turtle, and a horse. I work full time and I run an animal rescue shelter. I have 2 dogs that have seizures, there is not that much time involved in their care. I give them a pill in the morning and again at night. I take them to the vet 2 times a year for testing. That's not much more care than a "normal" dog takes. So you are just looking for an excuse to get rid of her because you are to lazy to take care of her. Shame on you abandoning her when she needs you most.
At least you didn't just euthanize her or dump her out somewhere, I will have to give you credit for that. Here is a link for the animal shelters in PA that are listed on petfinder.com

Have you done an Internet search for a Yorkie rescue organization?

Every breed has one....and people who are dedicated to a specific breed are more likely to be knowledgeable about and accept such a case than other groups, and more willing to make sure she gets the special care she needs. They will also make SURE she gets spayed so she can't reproduce.

To the poster immediately following me: Did you even LOOK at this girl's profile?!! She's a young girl (only 12, for crying out loud) in tears over this. It's probably not her decision...sounds more like something her parents are making her do. There may be financial or other extenuating family situations you know nothing about. Some seizure patients indeed ARE high-maintenance (unlike yours), and CAN take up quite a bit of time and money. I also get really annoyed by owners who act like their pets are 'disposable'....but shame on YOU for jumping on this little girl as you did. :-/

How sad that you no longer want your dog since it is not a perfect little baby. Call a yorkie rescue. They will take it and find someone who will love it, seizures and all. I had a chihuahua with hydrocephalus and she had seizures. I loved that baby dog with all my heart. We had her for almost four years and I miss her every day. I wish she had lived for 20 yrs. She has been gone just over a year,.

Seizures can be controlled by medication, so why give her away? If you must get rid of her, tell your vet and they can look for a special needs home for her. It shouldn't be hard to do. If I lived near you, I would take her, but I live in AR. Just be sure she goes to a family that will ake care of her medical needs.

I would recommend the Rolling Dog Ranch (www.rollingdogranch.org). It's an animal sanctuary in Montana especially for disabled animals. Sending her there would ensure that she would never be bred and that she could get the attention and love she needs.

There is a place called Angels for Animals. They do NOT euthanise animals.
