honestly im still trying to figure that out myself... i have a huge problem with dizzyness (my parents wont take me to the doctor and i cant drive myself yet)

ive found that it helps to drink more water than you ussually do.

People have told me many things help. like getting up more slowly (doesnt help for me)
sitting down and putting your head on your knees (also didnt help)
or drinking more water (helps some)
so far the only think i can do is wait for the spell to run its course and hope when the next one comes im not at the top of a ladder or something. (you may want to talk to your doctor or someone before you spend to much time on top of ladders and such... dont want to fall... believe me.)

well i know im not of much help (or any for that matter)
but.. well thats it

p.s. you may want to talk to your doctor, you may have vertigo or another disease (after much self diagnosis (yeah i know that doesnt count for a real doctors oppinion but its the best i have) in think i have vertigo))

I suffered the same symptoms for about two weeks before I convinced myself to go to the clinic. They diagnosed as a Type II diabetic. Enact the changes the doctor recommends. If your symptoms have not cleared within 24 to 48 hours, or you are still concerned, have another test done. Having too high blood sugar levels for too long is just as dangerous as them being too low.

There is no real answer for this unless you are seen by a MD. The cause of dizziness is really at question here, and depending on the cause a doctor can treat it appropriately

Besides drinking more water; try cutting down on
your salt intake.
But make sure to see a doctor to find out what
exactly is making you dizzy.

Try #3, then, if that does not do it, try deep breathing (not fast, you are not trying to hyperventilate) about 6-8 times. This will help oxygenate your brain, and provide it with more blood glucose, for fuel.

If your dizziness recurs regularly, then you may want to get checked for low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). www.hufa.org has some basic info about low blood sugar.

if this is an often occurrence... if you get up you get dizzy, if you exert yourself.. get dizzy.

see the doctor, you may have a problem or you're hypertensive?

could be equilibrium issues or just in infection.

all easily correctable of course.

:D
