You should understand that you HAVE to tell him, no matter how shy you are. You see, if you let that get in the way of telling him what you feel, you are likely to see him find someone else who WILL tell him how she feels... DONT let this happen to you. Just spit it out, and no matter what happens with him, it will feel great to have over come your fear. Who knows, he may be thinking the same about you...

If you're shy, just think that the guy you'll be asking out that he's shy. That would put you in the same level. Even if he's not.

I suppose you need to get to know a guy before you can ask him out. I dont think a direct approach is appropriate if you dont know the guy.

look him in the eye and smile and say hello if he is near, and how an interest in him ask some interesting questions to him. if he is intersted he will reply you do not need to ask him out, it will just happen.

Is it someone in particular, or just in general? You need to suck it up, just walk up to the guy and ask him. You won't no until you do it. And if he says no, then oh well, it's his loss.
