it means it has a bearing spun loose from the crank or wrist pin r u shure that is the problem a bent push rod sounds the same

it means you probably ran it with no oil or very little or you beat the p i s s out of it like over reving it. is it a chevy 350?baby the engine put oil in untill you get a new engine.
