All spinach has disappeared as a result of some "bad apples," so to speak.

Spinach has currently become a bad vegetable to eat due to e-coli. It killed at least 2 people and a lot of people were sick due to it. Therefore, you shouldn't be seeing spinach anywhere at all. Unfortunately, I saw some fresh spinach the other day at an asian supermarket.

Spinach has been found to have e.coli bacteria and you want to stay away from the bagged spinach. Only if you cook the spinach it would be safe to eat it.
But you can try frozen or canned spinach.

Due to the ban, fresh spinach is off the market. Canned and frozen will be ok though.

I haven't been able to find it either. They are supposed to be keeping only certain brands off the market when it comes back. I hope it's soon. I've been craving spinach for about a week.
