I tried the copycat recipe that just calls for salt and pepper and it does not taste the same. I tried writing to them asking what the ingredients were and they said it was proprietary. I'm not trying to start my own chicken business! I just want to know what spices are in/on the chicken to make it taste soooo good. Does anyone work for Chik-Fil-A? I am dying to know!!!

I don't work for Chick-Fil-A (and I seriously doubt they give the breading recipes to their employees!), but I've wondered this myself. It's probably salt, pepper and a boat load of msg. What's funny is, I ALWAYS get hungry for their chicken nuggets on Sunday for some reason. Isn't that strange? McDonald's has that knock off thing--the McSouthern chicken sandwich, or something like that. That's awful. I mean, it's OK, but nowhere near as good as a Chick-Fil-A sandwich.

When you find out, tell me! LOL

I love Chic-Fil-A

Try "Old Bay" by McCormick (it comes in a yellow can with a red top) and add a little extra black pepper. That's a great chicken seasoning.
