ppt of powerpoint. odp is used by "open office" which includes a powerpoint like program.

ppt = M$crosoft Power point
odp = Open Standard Power Point, used by Open Office.

The funny thing is that OpenOffice can handle both just fine, M$crosoft can only handle ppt..
