can u tell me why my upper left side ofstomach feels like its fluttering?

so a week ago i started getting this fluttering feeling in the upper left part of my stomach. it has happened every day. and now i seem to get this sharp piercing pain in the center of my chest every once in a while. i dont eat spicy foods, but i dont know what it is. please help!!! its driving me nuts
