My boyfriend called on Sunday afternoon and said I miss you. I want to see you. I'm headed your way in a couple hours after I run my errands. Its now 10pm at night (7hours later). No phone call. No show. I sent a text (before I went to bed) asking what happened. No response. I called and left a voicemail Monday afternoon. No response. I sent an email and I finally got a reply. He was tired after running errands and didn't feel like entertaining. Since when do you have to entertain your gf? I just wanted to hang out and spend time with him. I havent seen him in 10 days and he lives 15 minutes away. He said that I would have been pissed if he called me and cancelled. I would not have been pissed. I think he disrespected me by not calling at all. Don't you think he is in the wrong for not even calling me and letting me know he wasn't going to show up in the first place. I shouldnt be the girl sitting around and waiting for her bf to show up. I'm too good for that.

sounds kinda fishy to me. you should not have to wait for anyone. and he should understand that, and at least have the courtesy to call to say that he will not be coming over.

you're right - he was wrong - how long does a phone call take to say, sorry I cannot make it - too tired? he was disrespectful and rude - you may have been disappointed at the time, but not pissed - this has happened to me & as i look back i took one excuse after another from this guy - i see clearly now how rude he was to me & i took his crap, but only for so long - i think it's time to tell him bye-bye - you obviously both want different things from this relationship.

I don't think he's very into you and is being a jerk so you'll do the dirty work and save him from breaking up with you. It doesn't matter if he's wrong and you're right-- who cares? The issue is: do you want to be treated this way?
If you're too good to put up with his rude behavior, then end it and stop putting up with it. He's probably hoping that's exactly what you'll do. Save your self-respect and tell him buh-bye. And mean it!

Its ok for him to not come see you if he's too tired. but yeh i agree that he should have at least let you know, rather than letting you wait up for him all night. that was pretty disrespectful.

If he fell asleep, then it OK. He was wrong by calling entertaining, but hey he was tired.
