My horse has come from a dealer with no history wanted to know where she came from and whats she has done in her life she is now 16 yrs ?At a guess.

If it is freezemarked, it is registered. Depending where you are just look up" Freezemarking" on the net. In the UK the horse should have come to you with paperwork. Whats the freezemark number and I will speak to a friend of mine who works for Farmkey and has access to the register (only if you are in the uk)

In the US the most common freeze brand is done on the BLM horses. They are branded uo along the crest of the neck with a string of numbers.
If it is on the neck crest and looks like numbers you could contatct the Beuearu of Land Management they would have records or can tell you who has them.

Truly if you contact the Arabian registry they can help you. I have had several horses freeze branded by them. Of course they were pure bred Arabians,But the registry is helpful to all.Good luck

I think freeze marks mean it was a wild horse once, and was branded by the government. I'm not completly sure though.
