Christianity is NOT the only religion...hate to break it to you! and you don't have to have ANY religion to be a spiritual person. If the R& S section of YA was a christians ONLY club don't you think it would reflect that in the title???

Phil, read a question fully before you answer it...I never said a word about christians being close minded and opinionated....though you seem to have given proof of that anyway! I'm not worked up...I just think its wrong for christians to think that R&S is all about them...not all of them do, but clearly if your paying attention you will come accross this attitude...provided your eyes are open!

Girl you are so right! There are at least 2 a day saying something along the lines as what you are talking about. They think they rule the world. Take Apostle Jeff answer for example. "The only RIGHT religion"?!?!? WTF is that?! To everyone, their religion is the right religion. I HATE it when people think they are above one another. It is one thing to say yup - you are wrong 2+2 doesn't = 5. There is PROOF that that equation is false. But to say all the other hundreds of religions are wrong PULEASE!!
ARG. They think the sun revolves around them. If they want their own damn section on YA I'd sign their petition (And I would frequent there to!!) *smiles evilly*

Hi joeygirl. I have to admit I haven't seen questions started by a Christian, stating they feel Christianity is the only religion in R & S. This would help all of us. Which questions have you seen posted on YA R & S category, that makes you feel that the Christian posting the question believes, that Christianity is the only religion in YA R & S? Could you add a few of those question links here for all of us to see the details?
As a Christian and in my own opinion, one thing I've noticed on YA is that Christians are bashed on YA for our beliefs moreso than any other religion.. and guess who is doing it? Not Catholics, Not Muslims (well sometimes), but it is atheists that do this more often. When you see new questions posted, you can just tell what the beliefs are of the person in the title of the question and who is about to be bashed. Atheists normally start out all their ranting angry questions with "CHRISTIANS ... Why do you ____ _____ ______. And then begins their anger and hatred ranting. This is not about your question, this is several others I've witnessed today. All their questions and the text below their questions are all filled with anger and hatred. It is soooo easy to spot these. Just read the first line usually, but sometimes it takes the first 2-3 lines to really know. To see all this meanness going on, the anger, hatred, ranting and raving ... well it just tells people that 'the enemy' has control over the life of the person asking the question, ... because 'the enemy' is where anger, rage, and hatred come from.
And plleeaseee.... I'm not stating that Christians get bashed more in order to say "poor me" or "poor Christians" either. Because it is OK! It was written in the Bible and Christians expect it to happen and we're not pouting about it. No matter what is said it will never stop my believing in one true God, and I will continue to profess God's message to the world whenever I have opportunity that "Jesus Christ is Lord".
He is the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father [God] without Jesus Christ.

Yahoo is not exactly pro religion... and definatly not pro christian...dont you wonder why they do not have seperate religion sections under the general heading of R&S?...this has to be deliberate to alow the haters a place to attack all religion... The True Christians would welcome a seperate place to share honest questions about The Faith... as I am sure other "religions" would as well.... but the nuts would still show up

i am not saying this to be mean at all, but you are very worked up about this issue. the reason you feel the way you do is because there are MOSTLY Christians in this forum. It has nothing to do with Christians trying to monopolize it. These are just the facts. Please don't point to Christians as being closed minded and opinionated when every single human being is that way. No one is beyond having strong opinions about one thing or another.

Christianity is not the only religion, but it is THE only correct religion. Again, Christianity is the only correct Spirituality. For God is a Spirit and those who worship Him, MUST worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH! Receive Ye the Holy Ghost! How much more spiritual is that?
